World Cup Homage and the Medoc Marathon

The pensive bloke to my left is Paul, with whom I will shortly be staggering through the Medoc Marathon. It was about this time that Paul, quite possibly deluded by my running tales, thought that running a marathon made perfectly good sense. In fact, seemed like an adventure and a jolly good time all rolled into one. Brilliant, Paul!

On the footbal pitch, in the pouring rain, ankle deep in mud.

85 degree heat and, as you can see, 100 % humidity. Lovely.

A game well-played, Gentlemen.

Where are these pictures taken? The group photo has the most beautiful background with all the mist and palms.
